The idea behind 5th Season Workshop began on a family holiday to Appledore in 2021. With our children at the time being 8 and 9 the time felt right to start something new.
I’ve always being more of a hands on person so crafting seemed a natural thing to fall into. After lots of brainstorming I decided I would like to work mostly with wood as I have always loved this natural, versatile and beautiful material. I continue to practice, experiment and potter about using different forms of crafting, and really enjoy this peaceful and mindful time of the week.
The boys allowed their playhouse to be used as a workshop, so things could be worked on without having to be cleared away every day and now we all get the to pitch in and get crafty.
